how do we calculate the scores?
Each event will have its own scoring system in terms of points awarded to each team but these points will not be added to the teams total score on the leader board, instead these points will be used to rank the teams from 1 – 15. For example, if your team achieves a winning score of 150 in the bowling event, you will be awarded 60 points for coming first, as per the information below.

Each event will be scored as per the below guidelines. The only exception is the end of games quiz where the points you score on the night can be added to your total, leaving everything to play for.
Any teams outside the top 10 will receive 5 points. We can't let any one go home empty handed! During the Games each team may choose to Play their Joker Card once. When the Joker card is played and the team playing that card win there nominated event they will receive 50 BONUS points.
How points can be deducted...
A 15 point deduction will be applied for teams who turn up late.
A 10 point deduction for teams not fielding a mixed Gender team will be applied (Mixed Gender teams must field minimum of 2 ladies and 2 gents unless otherwise stated for specific events)
A 15 point deduction will be applied for teams who fail to show up to an event.
Fund Raising – Earn extra points to add to your overall score...
Throughout the games teams will be invited to run their own funding raising events to raise money for the Christie. The same scoring system will be applied for fund raising totals at the end of the event. A separate prize for the top fund raising team will be awarded at the end of the Games.
